transit overheating?

i have a transit 85psi on a 05 plate today it overheated , so i changed the themostart and refilled but when im driving it over heats i have powerstering after 2 min i restart and it ok for 2 - 3 min then it overheats again whats wrong with it help me please

check the small fan belt driven off the n/s of the camshaft,the idlers were bad for seizing and breaking belts which would stop the water pump from working

Initial thought, water control valve stuck.
Suppossed to open when temp is correct. to allow water flow. if not open over heat

have you checked the thermostat for the cooling fan for the engine?the big fan that sits behind the radiator
