"acorn join me in a drink" - Would love to, anywhere near the South East?

I seriously wonder why we bother spending our time here answering inane questions. This exact question has been asked so many times, with both silly and reasonable answers.

Perhaps there should be a test of some sort before a question (?) is allowed to be posted.
Something along the lines of, is my brain switched on today? Yes / No, delete the wrong answer. / No.

A lot of systems have the basics like that on the lid of the unit. usually, enter existing code, then a code which tells the unit you are going to change the code, then the new code. IF not on the cover, you will need to do a search for the make and model, google or other. AS you have not specified either on here. further advice is not possible
