The green light is on continously (no red light shows). Heating is on constantly unless manually turned on and off. The override button has no effect, nor does the Learn button when tried in various combinations either alone or with the override button.
The transmitter unit has no effect either, although I've put new batteries in and followed instructions to reset it.
