my oven ignites but the flames do not get bigger. do i need a new thermostat and if so is it easy to put in. it is a

sorry got this wrong not thinking .flame failure has gone not even getting hot enough for t/stat to work still test with b/lamp but f.f.d not bringing main gas on f.f.d back of cooker near burner easy to change

yes check flame large enough to heat flame failure device.poss heat with blow lamp. if still same its thermostat get gas fitter.
