brake pedal is solid in the morning. why?

hi every morn when I start my car my brake pedal is solid to push down, just a recent problem, but can anyone give me any info on why its happening before I take it to the garage, cheers peeps

not sure frank about cost,could be just a seal to replace,[ if seal is available -some are only supplied with servo]could need vac pipe replacing ,this usually has a one way valve in it which may be faulty, or the servo itself may need changing. the latter being the dearest! also it all depends on what make/model etc of vehicle!

sounds like vacuum in brake servo is exhausting overnight,may be seal between brake master cylinder and servo is leaking?
