807 goes for 200 yards then ony idles?

My peugeot 807 (2006) will start with no problems but will only idle after 200 yards. I have read codes but don't know how to clear them to start afresh. Any help appreciated as Peugeot have cleaned me out with a previous problem. I have also cleaned out the DPF.

thanks all for your help and sorry I have been off the forum for a while
afraid i'm getting nowhere with diagbox but had some luck while poking about. I turned my attention to a vacuum solenoid which was continually drawing in air and when tested with 12v there was no change in the condition at the air pipes and the car ran fine without it fitted. Replaced with new unit and has been OK for a while now.
Now I can concentrate on my AL4 auto problem which is as follows if you could give some advice. Reverse is fine but forward doesn't take up immediately but once in it stays in as long as I don't move into neutral. There was a P0717 input speed sensor fault so I changed the sensor which seems to have improved what I am calling gear change confusion with the gearbox but the take up in forward is still there. I had the car into Peugeot a while ago for a cylinder head problem and got them to check the gearbox as a precaution (no problems at that time) and they said it has the wrong oil in so my next job is to change it to Mobil LT 71141 type oil. Do you think that this could be the problem. I know it needs changing regardless but trying to divert funds in the direction of the fault first. Sorry about the essay,
Best Regards all,

Probs particle filter related fault. Take the keys out, turn everything off, don't operate anything including the alarm or doors...wait 3 mins or untill you hear a click and the "air con" display goes blank. Then turn on the ignition and gently drive off...hopefully it should be ok within a few hundred yards.

the codes are there to help you solve your problem so would work on those and when the fault is repaired you can then delete them
