Hi There I have just replaced the heating element and the thermostat on my CL 447 WV tumble drier but have a problem in that the heating elements do not now switch off, even with the door open. I have checked the wiring using the helpful advice already posted on this site and thats OK so -any advice please.

you have wired it up wrong somewhere along the way or you have a welded contact somewhere.If the drum is turning and you open the door does the rotation stop?
