peugeot 106 1.5 diesel timing help please?

can anyone help with how to time this engine up please it is 1998 r reg 1.5 diesel,previous owner had changed pump but not pinned the timing so it is not running right now,hubby is quite capable of doing this he has done lots vehicles but never one of these
