New iPad3. While attempting to sync with my computer a large number of photos were transferred from computer to ipad. Want to delete a lot of them but I am unable to do so. When I look at a photo actually taken with my ipad I can tap the screen and a trash can appears allowing me to delete the photo. The photos transferred from my computer do not allow this facility as far as I can see. How do I delete them please?

You cannot delete photos that has been transferred from the PC.

The only way to do this is to sync the iPad with the PC again. Now excluding the unnecessary photos.
