Leyland Daf FA45 130 1996 - Rear Wheel Hub?

I have noticed that there is oil/grease residue on the rear hub which appears to have been emitted from small holes at the rear of the hub. Is this a sign of a failed oil seal or anything else to be concerned with? Also have a spearate issue with a red light on the right hand side of the dash which has illuminated a couple of times when braking?

Lorry back from garage - leaking wheel cylinder renewed along with set of brake linings

Craig, October 2012
you will probably find leak may be brake fluid

Thanks Again, fluid checked and the one reservoir is near empty so have booked lorry into garage to be looked at along with rear hub

if handbrake symbol ,check fluid level, pads or shoes may need replacing

rear hub seal has gone ,the hole in the hub where the oil is leaking is a tell tale hole

Thanks Norb, can't remember the symbol as I noticed as I almost got back the horsebox back to the yard on Sunday - might be the handbrake symbol. Can you let me know what the hub problem is please?
