new control panel query?

Can any of you experts out there tell me what would make 3 PIR units fail after fitting a new control panel

do you know the odds of 3 beams failing at same time?????get your spark to check if he has accidently wired the beams the wrong way,i e has he wired them to latch on ????

Ahh the usual electrician issue ( some of us are here too, but come from a security background).
I suggest you ask him to read here if he is finding it difficult dealing with "millivolts" .
Then tell him to go forth if he cannot understand he has made an error and it is his time not yours to pay for, as in NOT YOU.


And of course you were out and did not witness anything.
Try reading the logs, print them here. Alarm panels do not lie. People do!!!

No you're wrong, I had an electrician install the new box for me. I don't know if the PIR'S were live when he did it. He informed me that they will all need replacing. They all have the lights permanently on.!

Shot in the dark, but I bet I'm right.

The lights on the PIRs are no longer working. Did you work on the panel / PIRs 'live', yes of course you did.

You've blown the 12v fuse in the panel that feeds the PIRs.
