there's a chance you've inadvertently put the machine into demo mode, depending on the age of the appliance there are a few ways to reset it but by the far the most common way is to hold the on/off and start/cancel buttons in together until d-off appears on the display
If this doesn't work you may have a faulty module but EMW will no doubt be along shortly to advise you of this (moneygrabbers)
