Hi debz I've been following your posts and rest assured you are in Alarm's more than capable hands here,but may I say that it seems you are a bit out of your depths,i also read that you were moving in equipment and wanted to use the alarm.
That system is old and dated now and really should be serviced by a pro,
the entire system needs to be checked and fully tested before you put your faith in it, replacing the backup battery on one of these is only a means to an end as they have a habit of reverting to factory settings,and will need reprogramming.
Once you find the endstation (control panel) then the battery is in there.
