Take off cover and (carefully) see if you can push start the drum into a powered rotation.
If you can then the motor is ok but the capacitor (usually fitted to the side of the motor) is kaput.
The capacitor is the gizmo that kick starts the drum left or right. Without it- the drum wont move
They are easy to replace
