Drier unit WJD 1257 W?

Hello Robbie, Thanks so much for the E90 solution; am just about to use the hair drier now!
Have just got this one second hand and carried it on its side; so guessing water got onto the boards...
Whilst doing this I noticed that the tiny drier pully belt was loose and badly worn, due (I'm guessing), from the large round enclosure that it drives being semi seized up.
My question is: is this worth dismantling to attempt a repair or is a new part the only option?
Thanks for your time, Kim

sometimes you can free off the blower fan but if it sounds rough when you spin it it probably is going to need replacing.also clean the condenser tank underneath that blower fan as they block and cause poor drying.E90 is sometimes an issue with the 5 wire blue loom not connecting to the user interface pcb in the fascia panel.again remove wire and reconnect usually sorts that.I hope if water has got it that drying it out works for you
