Fiat Punto 07, at night when i have my lights on they all light up as normal but when i press the brake the brake lights dont light up more, the sml strip light on top of rear window does though, however during the day when no lights are on and i brake only 1 brake light works, how is this when all bulbs r fine?

check that correct bulbs are fitted and fitted the correct way round,check earth and bulb holder connector plugs for good connections.
