How to empty water for moving from indesit IDL 40?

I need to turn dishwasher over but would like to empty all water out so as not to flood the kitchen

Lie the drain hose on the floor with the looped end in a washing up bowl. Keep under-running the hose with your hand to get as much water out of the pump as possible.
Better still if you can drop the hose over your door step
