Washer leaking into tub when not running?

Magic Chef Washer is leaking water into tub when washer is not running. why is it doing this?

inlet valve faulty or low water pressure.Also check if drain hose is connected under a sink that the sink waste isn't going in to the machine instead of down the drains!
