How do I oil a sibger futura 1100?

I have a singer futura 1100 and have a manual, but cant find out how to oil it. It keeps making a grinding noise and I cant find anywhere that explains the correct way to oil it.

only place you can oil without opening covers is on the hook area.best to take it to techno if grinding noise does not dissapear as more damage can be inflicted if problem not sorted out.could be motor or a dry drive shaft and that is a lot of money
