replaceing fuse/thermostat in AEG lavatherm 620?

the dryer stop heating. I suspect that it is the fuse or the thermostat. How do i check it

safest way is with the machine unplugged check the heater unit and stats with a meter for continuity in the components, nearly always the stats.
