my Daf LF45 struggles to build air over half way,the compressor seems to be making air ok and icant find any leaks,it was suggested it could b the air drier,how would i check this.

to be honest ,it will probably be a blown gasket in the compressor head..
there is no way as such to diagnoise the air drier ..you can remove cartridge and see what state the bowl in in ..possibly the governor valve in the air drier is faulty
but to be honest i'd stick a head gasket kit on the compressor
