hoover tv630 tumble dryer?

had a loud bang, drum still turning but no heat. mains suppressor has a crack in it but would have thought this would stop all power? so would it be heater?

check thermostats on top of heater for open circuit, one on left hand side most likely, if faulty replace it, suppressor most likely source of bang .
