how do you replace the cooker element?

how is the element secured to the oven on the belling 335 , i have to replace it but cannot see how its secured at the back

there are 2 screws at the back under the overhang (1 in each corner and your screwdriver will be pointing up) then the whole hob slides towards the front about an inch then tilt the hob up as if there are hinges at the front you will see wires to each plate in a plug and socket arrangement and a securing screw in the centre which will need to be undone to replace the element.

ps have you found replacement plates for less than £35 as i have not and need to replace several
