how much does it cost to replace a fuel line on a renault scenic?

I noticed a leak of petrol under my car about as far down as the drivers door and it looke like it is comming from a pipe under the car. Could that mean there is a breakage in the fuel line? how much should it cost to repair?

you dont say how far along the drivers door it is but if its below the`c` pillar it could well be the in-line filter. the filter case is very thin and fragile thus prone to leakage due to the fact that the fuel pump is in the fuel tank. also check all rubber joints for perishing.

I had this problem with a ford fiesta. You can buy a flexible hose
to replace the damaged part from places like motor world.
Remove all fuel and gently cut the damaged part from the fuel line,
cut the fuel hose to length allowing 2cm overlap.
Push the hose onto the cut fuel pipes ( 1cm each side ) and use the jubilee clips to fasten it into place.
