ouver heating pioneer 125?

got pioneer125 going timimng was out,has now been adjusted but still keeps cutting out and seems very hot could this be carb.how can i test it HELP PLEASE

Not familiar with these bikes so just a generic answer. sounds like the timing is still out if its getting hot. Are you leaving it running for long periods while your working on it ? Carb will only adjust air/fuel mixture, a lean mix may increase temp but shouldnt effect it too much. Double check the timing, run it and recheck incase its moving after you have set it.
