How can I change the date on a Olympia S2200 cash register?

Does anyone know how to change the date on an Olympia S2200 cash register? The manual is completely useless. It shows the use of letters: "A, B, C, D...." but doesn't mention how to access those keys. Unless I'm missing something???

I haven't seen that model, but the letters normally represent a number which you get from the tables in the manual. There are no ABCD keys. You work out what the number is that goes in the A position then B etc. Sometimes you add numbers together to get the resulting number. The manuals vary. Give it a try.
