Fan Oven element - Flavel Milano 100?

My fan oven element has blown. How do I remove the old element, as the screws appear to be mounted from the rear of the appliance? Thanks! :)

Had the same problem with a Flavel Milano E60. Read somewhere that you had to use a right handed drill and bore the rivets out!!!! Don't do it!

The screws can be removed at the back of the oven as per the answer above and the element easily replaced.

A two person job which should only take you 10 minutes and save a few £.

Good luck

I've sussed it myself - remove the 9 screws from the aluminium backplate, taking care not to cut your fingers on the sharp edges! Unscrew the 2 element retaining screws and unclip the 3 spade connectors and get your glamourous assistant (in my case, my wife) to catch the element before it hits the oven floor.

Refitting is a reversal of the removal process. Your missus may complain of tired arms as she hold the element up to the holes from inside the oven whilst you try to align the holes and screws from the other side - they are pigs to line up.
