Why is the alarm going off? Scantronic 9427 alarm?

I have a scantronic 9427 alarm. Every time I set the alarm, zone 6 flashes and the alarm goes off. I can clear it by putting my code back in but what is zone 6 and how do I fix the problem?

9427 is the keypad not the panel,

hint "PANIC"

How on earth can someone have an alarm system and not bother to know the ins and outs of its workings?
