Rear Footwell water ingress?

Hello. I wonder if anyone could help me please. I have a Fiat 500 2009 reg and I have water in the back drivers side footwell. Has been back to the dealer but they weren't able to find anything wrong. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? Desperate to get an answer.

Just to let you know that I phoned the bigger branch of the Fiat dealer this morning and they were amazing. Have taken responsibility for the leak and whilst car in the garage a loan car for as long as it takes. Thanks so much for all your help on this. I'll let you know where the leak was coming from when I find out as it may hopefully help someone else.

The car is just out of warranty (surprise surprise). Thanks for your help SD will have to try what you suggest. Really upsetting when car is only 3 years old.

As cdc
You have a problem, weather they could find it or not. Obviously they not good enough to find the problem, They are one problem, cannot be bothered, some leaks take some finding. Down to them get them to sort it.
IF on the other hand it is out of warranty, best way to find it, is sit in back when it is throwing it down, keep feeling around all the seals, windows doors fuel cap etc etc Not just the back ones, could be from front door posts etc running into back, IF dry after all that, Air-con evaporator will have a drain for water that condenses on the evaporator, some times the drain hole blocks, but that is usually situated under the dash, so water would normally go into front. But check that it is not running into back from front. Do you park the car level, or on an incline, on an incline try parking the other way around.
