tamper loop Scantronic 9427 alarm?

Tamper loop on my alarm panel is showing red any ideas on how to turn it back to green.

but be sure to remove the mains power from the alarm BEFORE you open the panel

your alarm has a global tamper,if you cant find the fault,you can short the tamper out inside the panel,ur alarm will then reset,not the ideal solution as you wont have any tamper protection,i e if you remove any cover of a pir the alarm will not go off.to find the tamper fault,open the panel,you will find a bunch of wires connected together terminating to the global tamper terminal,use a test meter on ohms scale,test each tamper loop,the one that is o/c ,is the faulty one hope this is of help
