I have a Samsung RS21NCMS which has a regular issue with ice build up in the fridge. (every 6 months or so I have to do a full defrost). I think I need a new evaporator cover/ fan / sensor but I don't know for sure which of these or if I need all of them. Is it really fix possible to fix this problem or am I just throwing good money after bad ? (Note: an engineer from Samsung came out of the blue a few years back and sais he needed to fit something - he opened the back of teh freezer and fitted a new part which I think was some sort of sensor).

to successfully repair your samsung fridge freezer , 1st use genuine samsung parts from a samsung stockist

this particular repair is not to difficult it involves changing a few parts in the fridge - they are all plug in so no cutting wires etc .

plenty of advice to be had like anything on the internet you just need to know whats the best advice ,

i would recommend ally , purely as he,s been mentioned on here hundreds of times and seem to have solved a lot of problems ..

so yes they can be repaired but it all depends what spares you use and how good you fit them ..

if the prob only surfaces only every six months make sure all users dont bang the doors closed as sudden air displacement can cause the other door to partially open causing an over run
