I have a electrolux esl63010 dishwasher ?

The programme is starting but as it gets to the cycle where the water needs to be pumped out there is just a whirling noise and the water does not pump out.
I have ordered a new pump. Where is the pump located, is it at the back or the bottom of the applience.

kinked hoses and blocked waste spigots under the sink are common issue for no draining. As said you need to check old drain pump impeller

If you don't know where the pump is then obviously you haven't checked it so why did you order a new one? There may be nothing wrong with the one in there now = Wasted money. It may just have something caught inside the pump catching the impellor and stopping it from spinning fast enough to pump the water. Anyway, it is underneath on the end of the draining hose. Follow the drain hose until you come to the pump.
