Hi
My electrician has changed replace the old cables to the 9651 with new cables and since then, we get each time bell temper once connecting to the battery and main.
Any idea how to fix it?

I was told to connect TR with 0 using a cable. This way it might work. My electrician tried it but still it didnt work.
Now he think within the bell box there might be a a connection between TR and 0, which might need to be removed. So next weekend he will bring a ladder to try it.
I am hopeless that he can fix it...

Thanks for the answers.
The user code is working and the inside sounds stopps after entering the user code but the outside bell doesnt stop.
I have used the engineer resett code and once I enter it, it comes with the message that the bell temper.
My electrician will come back on Saturday and I will show him your notes. hopefully he can find the where the issue is.
Before he replaced the cables with new ones, all were working.

Another thing if spanner lit then you need engineering code to reset the system,

The system will reset and the message clears if all ok,

If spanner not lit then system will reset with user code if all ok.

If your electrician can't trace and correct this fault, he isn't what he says he is.

Two wires and a front tamper switch to check,how hard can that be?????,

Lucky that panel displays "bell tamper" message or he be well fooked,

If it was ok before he left then it's probably the lid tamper on the bell box. :)
