Creda TCR2 keeps blowing the house fuses - what's wrong with it?

My Creda TCR2 blows the mains fuse when switched on - how do I repair it?

Possibly the heater element. Unplug m/c. unplug heater, tape end to make it safe. plug in and start, if ok heater shorted, replace. IF still trips out try disconnecting other things, OR if you have a test meter, check things find out which one is shorting
