How I can I fix my worn anti roll bar bushes on a 1998 Toyota Avensis?

Just had my Avensis fail it's MOT with worn anti roll bar d bushes and am informed it will need a new bar cos you can't get seperate bushes to fit. True or false, and if false is it a huge job to do?

There are some Fiats where you can`t get the bushes and you have to take the whole bar assy so yes, it may be true you need the complete bar which may not be cheap, have you tried a motor factors for bushes? You never know. Not done one of these so don`t know what they are like to do but if you get the mounting bolts and links disconnected they may be quite straight forward,it all depends if they clear all the other obstructions across the front end.
