zafira remote locking?

my remote locking locks and opens the car but will not start. turns over ok. immobilser not talking to the key????? I think.

hi i had the same problem with my renault. the key has a small imboliser chip which became faulty required me to make a new key from dealers. i was told the alarm turns of with the key in button but the immboliser has a transponder chip which is seperate
