my hotpoint dryer model tc71 works but doesnt heat up. help pls

could be blocked up at the bck where the pump is theres a trip switch in side with a float made out of polystyrene , if the frount red lights on it means resivouirs full and the tray needs emptying so it wont let the heating element switch on , be carefull as the switch terminals are live so be warned ,make sure you have cleaned out all bck of the heat exchanger , (lot of it is common sence not rocket science like domestic engineers make out , ) it vents are blocked moisture blows back in to the heating elements and trips the sencors , dry out with hair dryer and try again ,, :)

BIT of a stupid post,
WORKS but does not heat up. SO it does NOT work then.
Check the element, might be an overheat sensor on it, could of blown, but if it has, probably element gone, to trip it in the 1st place, So check element.

i have a indesit 1s70c condenser dryer , kept tripping out sockets , cleaned it out then red light comes on have to jam the float up in the resovouir to get the heating element to kick in , is there a master reset button any where :)
