wire frompotentiometer trapt in fold down handle, both wires were striped of insulation and joined together, no signs of overheating,have reconnected, there is still no sign of life when the potensiometer is rotated.have checked (avometer)12 volts showing at pot: Could the short cicuit on the wire have caused some problem in the black control box ?
