Not a question just to let you know my 1994 daf 45 has passed the mot after a failure on the handbrake. Two cables later and an adjustment and i'm right for 12 months again. A cracking lorry that I can't fault at all. :-)

Cheers Norb Odd it will hold 7.5 tonnes securely on a steep hill but fail on the rolling road ! Changed one track rod end and exhaust downpipe before mot so quite pleased with the old girl.

handbrake cables are a yearly problem .the only real issue with the old 45...tip before applying the handbrake at test ,apply footbrake ,then handbrake ,then off with the footbrake..
