leaking waste water hose?

The waste water hose on our F&P 920 dishwasher is leaking outside the unit. How would I replace the hose or would taping it be successful?

Depends why it is leaking. If it has a small hole because it rubbed against something or a mouse has nibbled a small hole then you can tape it. There is a rubberised repair tape on the market at hardware stores for repairing hoses which is quite good. If the plastic hose has split because it is brittle then replace the hose. You will have to lay the dishwasher down on it's side (some water will come out so have a towel under it) Remove the panel underneath to gain access to the hose connection on the drain pump. Remove hose from pump, pull it out of cabinet. Feed new hose through & connect back on to drain pump. Quite easy to do. Make sure power is off by disconnecting plug from wall socket first.
