my optima plus alarm system is bleeping and i carnt reset it and i dont have a manuel as its very old as in older than my motherin laws its doing my head in and need to find out what i need to do will i have to call some one out and if so who and do i need to pay or will it come under my house insurance plz help
It's letting you know that there's no mains power supply to the panel, and it's running on battery backup,which will need replacing anyway.
It most likely hasn't a fused spur fitted as it has a 2amp fuse fitted to a ceramic plug top holder INSIDE the control panel.
You need to make absolute certain that there is no mains power supply to the panel before you go inside to check this fuse.
Chances are they won't be a spare fuse in there anyway.

its got the letter L but backwrds with a dot under it and it bleeps every 5 seconds and the red light on the power indicator is flashing ive lookd at my fuse box as we had a power cut tday and thats when it started there fine ive tryed pressing rest but it dosnt work infact none ov the buttons work

But initially as it is old, I would think the battery has had it, and will need to be replaced, Very easy. But reply with details, lights etc
