I used the wrong foot for a fancy stitch, and message E6 says the motor's jammed. The knob on the right for raising and lowering the needle won't move at all. Have I destroyed my friend's machine or can it be fixed ?
could be some cotton jammed in or around hook,only way to check is carefully inspect hook to see if there is movement when handwheel is turned,maybe use small mirror to look at back of hook
