Powercraft 1573 bench drill from Aldi?

Walter-Werkzeuge (Austria) made bench drill. Does not switch on, fuse OK. Probably switch? Are they replaceable? Do I remove the pulley house on top to get at it or is there an easier way?
By the way, I've had it several years and it's been fine - no complaints for the type of work I do.

prob a stupid question, but, have you tested the switch ?????or are u one of these people who just replace everything till you get it to work??try using your brain, get a meter, test and test again, dont just buy this and that.test the thing !!!,start with the cable that feeds the thing,if ok check the switch,if ok,check the motor, but, first things first, test the source of supply,do you have power to it ??? my first year students would find this all out in ten minutes,as you may have guessed.am an electronics engineer, and a electrical engineer, dont just guess, test

I have found the answer to one of my questions - the switch housing is held on by two Phillips screws, now I need to find whether spares are available. Has anybody replaced the power switch?
