when I close the door of machine I can see that it pushes back the rubber seal slightly causing the machine to leak water. I have removed the clip and tightened it over and over and it looks fine until the door is closed and rubber is pushed back again

give the glass bowl a good clean as there might be a build up of lime on it, you could also apply a very small amount of wash up liquid along the gasket edge where the glass hits it, this would help lubricate it and stop the binding
