"Shorted-out" burner elements on Electrolux stove top?

Power is good to the burner elements. Grounding wire up against metal bottom covering plate resulted in insulation wearing. "Telltale black burn marks" at all three grounding spots indicates "shorting". My assumption is that the elements are permently damaged. One solution is to replace elements. Make sense? Where can I get them? I can't read the "part #" on the elements completely.

Ring someone who sells Electrolux parts and quote product and serial they should be able to find exact part required.Be prepared for price if genuine part offered!.what model is it anyway.multiple element failure doesn't sound right here which makes me think you need to look elsewhere

Wasn't around for the initial failure. Nothing on-line (dozens) matched the product and or serial #'s. Again, at the moment there is 220V at the connectors of the elements. Saw no internal fuses or fusible links.
Thanks for the input.

did it blow a fuse or trip an rcd.if it is an earth wire then it won't necessarily of damaged the elements. You order the elements by using the product and serial number on the cooker rating plate or via the model number not by part No on the ring.Loads of sellers on ebay
