I have a Hoover optima washing machine - filter leaking?
I had problems with water coming out of the filter all over the floor. I took out the filter cleaned it all (not much debris) and replaced it and still th water gushed out. I now have a new filter and when I put it in water gushed out again! I have tried to tighten it as much as possible but it still leaks! Help!
I have got exactly the same problem. Have you found a solution?

have a good look into the pump as a coin may have dropped down preventing filter from screwing fully in otherwise there must be a crack in the pump body
