How do I remove a chuck from a Dewalt DWD524?

The DWD524 has a keyless chuck and reverse, Looking into the chuck, there is a (tiny) central pilot hole but no visible screw head. Despite the drill being unused, I am unable to remove the chuck using the Allen Key method. Any ideas?
