Ford ka heated rear window?

Rear screen heater not working I notice there are 2 tabs sticking out one is at top of screen with a cable attached and one down the side of rear window with no cable attached,should there be a cable attached to both tabs? Look forward to your help I
The car is an 05 ford ka luxury

i think one tab is screwed directly to tailgate to form earth connection.so technically there is only 1 wire on it, the live feed.

Thanks mm I will try and find the other cable ,the car went in for a repair after someone drove into back,perhaps they took it off .thanks again
