sprite musketeer gl late 80's caravan?

HI i have a sprite musketeer gl caravan, it doesnt utilise the alko chasis, but the hand brake has failed, seems as if the release button has rusted up and now you need to hold the button out to use the handbrake, nobody seems to be able to offer any assistance from any of the local caravan spares shops, can anyone tell me how i might be able to repair it or where i can get a replacement or what sort of handbrake is fitted to it,

www.sprite-caravan.co.uk go to this site which appears to be sprite and select contact. Email them explain the problem you will need the chassis number, this may be security etched in to the windows or check the chassis plate usually around the tow hitch A frame. Either email or telephone if in UK or email if not.
Why did I put the last bit! because its a world forum.

Only a guess I had problems with one of my caravan handbrake levers the rubber grip used to ride up in hot weather when using the hand brake and then could not depress the button to release until I worked the rubber hand grip down the handle again. Wrapped the bottom half with duck tape to stop it movin up.
