AEG Lavamat door problem?

Hi, I have an AEG Lavamat Turbo 16830 and have the E240 error code (Door not closed). The door is closed but I keep getting a clicking sound as if the door is being checked for closure. Could it be a faulty switch? Thank you. Martin.

Ransom Spares appear to be the cheapest for OEM parts, thank you.

Hi CK, sorry, yes the code is E40. Thanks for your answer, much appreciated. Can you point me in the right direction for buying AEG parts?

Thank you.

Is that supposed to say E40 as this is the door lock fault code.hopefully replacing the lock (bit clicking) might solve the issue
